The Book Eaters

This book was something familiar and different from what I've read. It possessed elements of fantasy, science fiction, and a part of fiction never before explored by myself as a reader. It contains at least two moments that will haunt me until my dying days. Dramatic? No. It's a completely reasonable statement.

The beginning drew me in immediately. If life wasn't a constant interruption, this book would have been finished within a day. I felt for Devon, the story's protagonist. My heart barely possessed the capacity to draw in the emotional trials Devon went through. I hope for a continuation of her story. Time will tell if a sequel comes to publication.

I wish the author, Sunyi Dean, all the best in her career. We need her stories.
