This will be the second book that I have ever given less than four stars to. It began as an interesting story and held my attention to about halfway. I stopped because I couldn't locate the main conflict. I couldn't see who the villain was and felt neither point of view character was in real danger.

I do feel I need to read more Mark Lawrence books in the future. I say this for the reason that I admire him as an author.

I read this anthology for a friend and it was so much fun. I enjoy different versions of stories and this book delivered that. I specifically liked the story involving Wendy from Peter Pan. I recommend this book to readers wishing for a different take on Alice in Wonderland.
