I enjoyed the story and felt at home with this book. The story is set in a small county in Virginia. I felt something for the characters and related to them. The darkness and gore throughout the book shows a side of humanity most can only imagine. My only issue with this book is stating the implied.

This particular graphic novel is a first volume one. It is a combination of Robin teamed with Dick Grayson as Batman and the original capedcrusader Bruce Wayne. You experience a father and son relation ship that is rough from day one. The book has some villains readers don't normally see in Batman's rogues gallery.

Overall, I loved this book and look forward to reading volume two.
