I have begun collecting and reviewing graphic novels. I'm starting with this book because Daredevil is not only very popular, but one of my favorites. This story showed character growth for both Matt Murdock and his alter ego Daredevil. It had good art, dialogue, and a fast paced story.

I found this story almost like a tractor beam. It pulled me in with every turn of the page. I worried about the characters. Whether they would survive or run into trouble. The moments trouble came were frightening, especially under the circumstances. A lot of these comments may sound basic, but this is the first novel I have read where the stakes were realistic. There were no dragons, swords, or evil wizards. Just the elements and constant threat of starvation.
